|Job Description:||Provide supervision and general guidance to residents to assure an environment is maintained whereby positive behavior changes in residents can be fostered and realized. Supervise and directly work with offenders/residents, including modeling appropriate behavior. Organize resident activities. Interact with the residents, public, and coworkers displaying effective interpersonal skills that convey a sense of concern and understanding, yet maintain a sense of objectivity in assuring the policies and procedures of the CRTC are not compromised. Prepare well documented reports. Process the intake of new residents and ensure the resident’s property is properly secured. Conduct resident searches, as well as, searches of living areas, common areas, buildings, vehicles, and grounds. Also, secure and document any seized or discovered contraband. Must possess a high school diploma or GED, some college preferred. Computer literate. Must possess a valid Texas driver license and current liability automobile insurance. Must have a telephone number at which he/she can be reached and access to reliable transportation. Must be able to pass a criminal history check.
